TIME TRAVEL TOURS AT THE PEALE
BALTIMORE, MD, UNITED STATES
OUR TIME MACHINE
In January, 2018, the Peale received a mysterious package which included detailed plans on how to build a 200-year time machine.
The decision was made to follow the plans and build the time machine in secret. After nine-months of construction at a remote location, the time machine has been thoroughly tested and proven safe, and we are thrilled to now offer Time Travel Tours to the general public, as well as researchers, educators and historians.
TIME TRAVEL TOURS
Your experience begins in the Escapement Time Travel Agency, which has been established inside the Peale to oversee reservations, distill the necessary fuel, and manage operations of our Time Travel Tours.
After activating the Time Machine, you are invited to step back in time for a guided tour of Rembrandt Peale’s study 200 years ago.
Each full-length Time Travel Tour includes the history of the Peale family and their museums, an introduction to our Time Machine, and up to 40 minutes of actual Time Travel!
Time Travel Tours are currently led by curator, storyteller, historian and David London, who will accompany you on your journey, and illuminate the many wonders that await you inside.
or call 1-866-TME-TRVL to speak with a certified Time Travel Agent.

WHAT IS THIS?
UNAUTHORIZED PHOTO OF REMBRANDT PEALE’S STUDY, NOVEMBER 2, 1818
The Time Travel Tours experience is an interactive exhibit that engages with the history of the Peale and its founder in 1818, and connects certain aspects of that time to ours and to the future.
